Purchased two bolts.. Had a question as to why the .067" firing pin tip as it is different from the standard .074" DPMS pattern... Seems the smaller firing pin hole will take higher pressures against the primer.. Why?? It is a gas operated service rifle...? Had a problem with the bolt faces and the two lugs that engage the bolt stop. The machining was rough and using the bolt release button took a hammer. After several phone calls to SRC armor he said to buff/lap the two lugs where they contact the bolt stop. I diamond lapped the bolt face and lug transition to a dull polish type finish. I sent pix to the armor and he said it was ok... Bolt releases like butter now...

Beautiful matching and finishing, this is my 4th Sharp,s bolt and every one is terrific. I don’t even look at other brands anymore. I’m not sure you can buy a better bolt at any price.

I bought the 308 BCG with DLC. I will say it is one beautifully manufactured and fished BCG compared to several other OEM units I've looked at. I did have an extraction issue when I first installed it in a new Aero M5 - it appeared to me the extractor springs was weak compared to other bolts. I contacted support and they responded to my inquiry immediately and put me in touch with a knowledgeable tech who told me there should be two springs in the extractor not just one. SRC send me the extra center spring plus a spare set for my range bag. This BCG functions beautifully now in my M5. SO not only product quality but customer service is top notch! I highly recommend SRC products.

I ordered Sharp's 308 BCG with their Reliabolt. I had issue with the extractor roll pin working its way out in the process of firing to the point of one of the extractors came out between rounds luckily not allowing the weapon to fire another round but slightly damaging the barrel extension teeth. I contacted Sharp's and had a little issue getting someone to answer but eventually had a reply via email. I had almost written them off when I received a phone call from one of the higher ups which absolutely changed my opinion. Faulty parts can get by the best but you never know if a company cares about you the consumer till you get called from management trying their best to personally fix your problem. Sharps cares about their customers. The 308 bolt carrier group is outstanding and functions better in my LR308 than the JP, Lantac. Ballistic Advantage or Fail Zero. I hope the bolt I am having replaced performs good as well. Either way.
