Expertly crafted, beautifully finished as expected from Sharps. One Problem is that it will not trip the port door on my BAD762 upper. Tried a steel port door & a Polymer Strike door. Had to replace the carrier with something else to get this to work. This carrier will be used in the next build.

I'm a fan of the XPB carrier group owning 3 of them in 5.56, so when Sharps came out with the 308 I had to have one. It's been almost a year now and a little over 1000 rounds through my 20" Aero/Faxon rifle. My XPB has been flawless during this time a cleaning a breeze.
I plan on getting another one soon for my new 16" 308 build.

I purchased this bcg on 01/31/2020 for my .308 build. I finished the rifle and took it out to test fire it on 2/8/2020. During the test fire I had several issues with the bcg. The issues were failure to extract the spent cartridge and double feeding. While at the rage I had 2 other bcg’s to use which was a failzero bcg and a aero precision bcg. I swapped the bcg and my gun ran flawless with the failzero and aero bcg. I put the sharps bcg in a friend Ar-10 and the same issues occurred. I tried emailing sharps rile company about this issues and have not received a response. The customer service is poor. If your looking for a BCG DONT BUY THIS! shop somewhere else. It’s been serval days with no response so I just ordered a bcg from failzero.

Put this BCG in my .243 build with a 80% lower, Areo upper, Bear Creek Heavy Barrel an d Vortex scope. Seemed stiff, almost binding. After a few rounds it loosened up a bit, but would not fully seat and needed to use the forward assist. Inspecting the BCG it had scuff marks on the backside. Not sure if it's the bolt or just needs time to break in. Ejected brass has VERY VISIBLE ejector marks with factory rounds... Winchester. Not sure if I will keep this BCG. I will post a follow up review next month after I handload some rounds.

I have to say that this is probably the best complete BCG you will ever find anywhere Hands down. I took the 308 Win. build out to play and it was amazing. After tuning in my Superlative Arms Adjustable Gas Block the cycling was as smooth as silk and no problems with short strokes or slam stokes. I really like the dual eject pins instead of one like everyone else. A true stroke of genius. The finish is the strongest I've seen and like everyone else say, the clean-up is very easy. Looking forward to getting another one for my .260 Remington build, one for my 338 Federal Build and of course maybe a couple spares just to have around. A man can never have too many guns or BCG's in his safe. So, if you're looking for a BCG that not only out performs all the rest but is also much better priced than most out there, Sharps Rifle Company has the perfect BCG for you. I have both AR-15 and AR-10 versions and I am in the process of converting everything to the Sharps Relia-Bolts. All my other brands have been given to new homes, once spoiled with the SRC BCG's I can't go back to any other brand. Thanks SRC, you make the best BCG's on the market. Keep up the good work.
