After getting to the range to checkout the build. I was able to fire 20 rounds. All I had of 308. A mixed lot of old and a couple of Ft. Scott munitions 168 grain solid copper rounds. The bolt group along with a heavy 5.7 oz buffer ejected the rounds at a 3:25 o clock position. Just about perfect. Accuracy was not a factor as I was only able to get on the 25 yd range. And I had no sights. However, just point shooting at that range was 3 inches of bad guy. So it did it's job. This exceeded my expectations and I would say this bolt group was right alongside the JP bolt. A bit cheaper as well. Next test is with my new Athilon scope and the Ft. Scott ammo.

This is one smooth operator. I purchased this BCG for my DPMS LR308 and it has made all the difference in the world. I have put over 200 rounds through it and not one failure even with extreme rapid fire. It makes the rifle cycle nearly twice as fast. Clean up is a breeze, just wipe off with a cloth and the built up carbon just wipes right off. I can't believe how easy it is to clean. The description doesn't say it but it has dual ejectors, I am sure this has something to do with why it works so good. It looks sharp looking too, oh no pun intended. I bought a second one to keep while they are on sale.

This is one smoooooooth operator. I purchased this BCG to use in my DPMS LR308 that I have had failure to eject problems with. This Sharps carrier group solved all the problems plus it cycles so smooth and fast. During rapid fire it sounds like an automatic. That's how much faster it cycles. Plus it looks sharp, no pun intended. It also makes clean up a breeze too. The carbon build up, what little there is, even after 200-300 rounds, just wipes right off. The finish is so hard and smooth you don't even need any cleaner. Its worth every penny so I'm going to buy another just to keep as a spare while they are still on sale. Save $100. or so.

Just got the bolt carrier in last week. The fit is perfect in my Noreen firearms upper. Has a very nice ping on closing. Waiting on weather to get out and break it in. I was torn between this bolt group and the JP enterprises. But I like my 25/45 so I got this one. I will reevaluate after a range session. But so far it is good to go as far as fit and finish go.

I am completing a 308 build. I enjoy my 25/45 a lot and decided I would use this bolt carrier group. My hope is that it is along side or better than the JP bolt group a lot of dealers wanted to sell me. Not going to be a 1000 yard tack driver but the 308 was never that to begin with. Hopefully this bolt will be as good as my 25/45 has been. I will rate it after the first range report. So far, so good. Thanks, Steve
